I’ve stayed at VHH for years. Why all of a sudden do I have to purchase a seasonal membership?
For 50 years we have promoted the common bond between Airstream owners. Recently there has been increased emphasis on the membership structure of non-profit social clubs on the part of the IRS. We’ve developed our seasonal membership program to mirror our actual activities over the last 50 years.
If I don’t own an Airstream, can I become a seasonal member?
No, our park only allows Airstream branded recreational vehicle owners to become seasonal members.
What if I don’t want to become a seasonal member?
You must be a seasonal member to camp at VHH. When you make your first reservation of the season, your membership will be activated as a part of the reservation process, to make it easier for everyone. There is a $25 annual membership fee, but you will also receive a discount on your 1st night’s stay.
What does a seasonal membership get me?
The ability to make a reservation and camp overnight with that paid reservation (subject to site availability), enjoy our park’s amenities, and the option to join in our host sponsored social club activities while you camp in the park. Membership at VHH is a way to celebrate the rich history and common bond between Airstreamers.
If I have a seasonal membership will I be guaranteed a camping spot?
No, we have capacity limits for site reservations which vary throughout the season.
If I have a seasonal membership am I required to help out in the park?
Seasonal members have no specific responsibilities or obligations, unlike our Stockholder members, beyond camping in the park and enjoying our social activities and amenities. Seasonal members are expected to follow the park rules which are provided upon making a reservation and when checking into the park. Certainly, if you wish to help out at social events you are more than welcome to.
Can I access the park even when I’m not camping in it?
No, seasonal members are only allowed access to the park when camping overnight in the park with a paid reservation.
When I become a Seasonal member, what is the duration of the membership period?
Your membership runs from the 1st day of the 1st reservation made during a season until the close of the season which is October 15th.
